Consultant, Expert Witness, Electrical & Electronics Door, Gate & Sensor Specialist My qualifications as both an expert witness and engineering consultant include specialized research and analysis of both the electrical and electronic workings for door and gate industry products. This includes the functionality and testing of electronic sensors, controls, logic board controllers, wiring problems, etc., providing comprehensive analysis of failure mechanisms for injury, damage and failure cases. Qualified to conduct site inspections, provide expert reports, affidavits, deposition and trial testimony. Have extensive knowledge about the rules and standards, including UL and ANSI, that apply to the door and gate industry.

Interface with customers and vendors to facilitate delivery of products per timelines. Design products to conform with all applicable standards and pass necessary testing such as ESD, ground bond, Hi-Pot, etc.
Ahern Engineering Las Vegas, NV 2021-2024 Senior Electrical Engineer
Responsible for the complete electrical design of over 12 new heavy equipment products, including scissor lifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, glass lifters, burden and personnel carriers. Provided complete support from the design phase through prototyping and into production, including wiring harness and circuit design, along with the integration of software. Fully integrated both Cummins and Kubota engines and generators. Design was done using Solidworks and PDM.

Responsible for the entire electrical design of LCD and OLED monitors, including harnesses, implementation of touch screens, and colorimeter testing to ensure that all monitors are of consistent design and production. Interfaced with engineering team in Taiwan and factory in China to complete all projects. Provided support for trade shows including G2E and DSE.
